I don't even remember when I created this blog account, but only now I'm determined to get on with it. But let me introduce myself first.
My name is Beatriz. I have an associate degree in animation and have worked as a digital cut out animator for two and a half years. The studio I worked for closed it's doors in December last year and now, being unemployed, I'm having enough time to think and set some new resolutions for this year that is just begining.
One of these resolutions is that I would draw more often. In fact, this is a resolution I've been setting up for years now and always fail to achieve. By ''draw more often'' I mean depeen myself in illustration and storyboard studies and hopefully get a job in one of this areas. This is something I've been wanting to do for some time now and this extra free time seems a good oportunity to finally start doing it. My pile of unfinished works makes me discredit myself, buuuut...let's be hopeful.
Also, creating a blog was part of this same resolution. I'm hoping it might help me produce more and feel less embarassed to put my works online. I've been searching a lot of blog host sites lately, but blogger is the one I found more similar to a journal and I don't want to just post my drawings, I would like to write about them too.
